This is a celebrated French advertising poster for Pianos Focké, a Parisian piano manufacturer based at Rue Morand 9. The artwork features a woman in an elegant, flowing gown standing beside a grand piano, embodying the “Art Nouveau” aesthetic popular in Paris at the turn of the century. The text prominently displays the company’s accolades, including the Gold Medal at the 1889 Paris Exposition Universelle (the same world’s fair for which the Eiffel Tower was built).
